“I tell my personal training clients to get a set of dumbbells, something that will provide constant resistance. If those are not available now, find a few nylon tote bags — something with a handle — and find a weight that’s appropriate for you. If you can do a set of 20 easily, then add some more weight; if you can’t get to 10, lighten the load.”

“Resistance bands are another versatile at-home exercise tool. With them you can mimic most exercises you could do at the gym: presses, pulls, and other resistance efforts.”

Does the addition of “(level) II” make a difference to anybody? I am the only marketing communications specialist for a lead child-welfare nonprofit. We oversee four counties in two circuits. Director recently gave me add’l merit-based raise (after my annual raise, been here 14 months) & slight title change to Marketing Comm Specialist II. No plans to add a level 1 (would be lower) specialist but will add level 1 engagement specialist to team. Should I update resume/cards or is this confusing?

I am in the process of finding administrative assistant interns from our local universities. I certainly don't want to mislead anyone on the job responsibilities, but I do want to avoid any potential negative stereotypes attached to that job title. Are there alternative titles that you find more appropriate for 2022?

Motivation is key when it comes to bettering yourself, your team and your brand. Without self-motivation, you'll be less likely to inspire your team to work together to better your business. Like a muscle, self-motivation becomes stronger the more you use it. Mastering the art of self-motivation will take some time to become a habit. However, with daily practice, you'll not only better yourself and your business, you'll inspire your team to lead more meaningful personal and professional lives.
