Because you didn't want it anymore or it was beyond its useful life, kinda like an old car... it's old, rusty and needs more maintainence than it provides useful transportation, it's in the repair shop more often... everytime it goes in you find something else wrong with it? Plus, the prices the buyers are willing to pay are outrageous, by the time you get it paid off it's in the junk yard. No easy solution to building a sustainable business except hard, persistent work. I’ve hit a plateau on the keto diet (no weight loss in 3 months). So in addition to walking 5 miles a day (been doing this since month 2), on Sunday I started a Beachbody HIIT workout with weights (21 day fix real time). It’s 30 min workout daily and I’m two workouts in and I can barely move. Also, the muscle cramps are for real! Drinking about 80 ounces of water a day and I soaked in an Epsom salt bath last night, any other tips?

When selling practices, I was always under the impression the practice would be sold based on 2-3x trailing 12 rev.
Is it typical for practices you currently work for to do some sort of equity ownership ramp-up, whether you buy in with cash, or get equity as part of your overall comp package every year during review time?
Trying to weight my options here. I was under the impression the 2-3x or whatever times trailing would be set, and payments would be spread over like a 5yr period for i.e.
