Hi Fishes, I'm in a huge dilemma now. Im currently working with TCS and my CCTC is 10.29 LPA and I hold 2 offers, one with with Bank of America for 17.5 LPA Fixed and with CTS for 19 LPA.
My last date is Dec-30 and I received a call today from TCS HR for retaining me for 16 LPA max.

Trying to figure out if I should start as an inbound SDR, or try jumping straight into an AE role in SaaS.

I left mortgages at the beginning of the year to start a franchise business, it's now semi-self-sufficient so wanted to start a career again and I live in the Silicon Slopes area. Everyone I know is in SaaS or software engineering.

Just wondering if I should push my resume as far as possible and try to snag an AE role or take my time in a new industry and start from the bottom.

I'm emotionally hit hard from my job, and would like someone to ground me a bit. I joined the new shop last month, with the team who we realized has zero pharma experience. Think about this for a minute... why would you sell a book? Because you didn't want it anymore or it was beyond its useful life, kinda like an old car... it's old, rusty and needs more maintainence than it provides useful transportation, it's in the repair shop more often... everytime it goes in you find something else wrong with it? Plus, the prices the buyers are willing to pay are outrageous, by the time you get it paid off it's in the junk yard. No easy solution to building a sustainable business except hard, persistent work.
