Fishes, how were the appraisals in general at Deutsche Bank for roles in Mumbai location? Understand that they got concluded only recently so it will be interesting to know. While it may vary from function to function but we will atleast got to know a ballpark figure. Also if you could add your designations, will be great.

Fishes, Anyone aware of the relocation assistance provided by Wells Fargo . Is that provided as as whole or only after submitting the required bills and docs.
Asking because Deloitte credited 40k relocation assistance without any bills even though it was mentioned in the offer that bills were necessary.

ZS partner here - ZS is such a slam dunk that it’s hard to think there’d be a debate.
I’d rather be a ZS partner than a Deloitte equity partner, but that’s maybe a closer call. Vs non-equity partner? Not a close call.

My question was for MD1
While the comp is comparable now (which I am surprised by), there is no way a non equity role can match the growth in comp of the equity role.
Other than comp, you probably want to also weigh if you believe you can be successful in the partner role at ZS. Some people can adopt and be successful and others cannot.
Any reason NOT to take ZS partner?

If I were you I would consider the eminence/size., Deloitte is 20 times bigger, the size and industry of clients you want to serve. The areas you want to work In. I’ve been in big-4 for 25 years and I can’t recall ever competing against or seeing ZS at one of my clients, I don’t think they specialize in my industry. Equity Partner sounds great, but there’s more to the decision. And in fairness to ZS bigger isn’t always better, maybe you want to be at a smaller/specialized firm.
I can say the upside of being a Partner at Z might be better than MD in D. Only reason is the expectations of the role are higher than pay :) equity can give you power and expand to non LS and build the practice. It depends on what you want to do ?? Are you more of a person who wants to build something or use and expand what is there ..
I have chatted with Big 4 and ZS partners.
ZS will continue to have better pay - also Big 4 MD is not an equity role, right? Principal at ZS is partner and is the top role.
P2 - what are the potential barriers to adopt as a partner ar ZS that would be different as MD at Deloitte? Any insights would be helpful
I can't speak specifically to Deloitte. For sure, being collaborative with high values are the most important IMHO. Beyond that, it's being able to drive sustained impact. We have very strong relationships with our top clients and are a deep expertise-based firm. It you have a proven track record in consulting, I don't see any reason it wouldn't translate.
