Thinking about moving in 2-3 years. Currently at an in-person job probably being paid less than I can earn elsewhere, but also earning options in the company which will cash out when PE sells in 2-3 years. Worth leaving for a different job to earn more in the short-term knowing unless it's fully remote or a large firm I would have to jump jobs again in a couple years? Expected salary bump would be like $115k -> ideally $155k ish. Not sure what the true value of my current equity options are.
