Do it. It’s as advertised
Yes as good as it sounds
Thanks for the honest feedback! As a bit more context I don’t travel every week for work, and for personal travel it’s myself, SO and two kids. The points I earn for work travel don’t come close to covering the cost of 4 flights for one family vacation 😂. Based on this alone I feel my family will get lots of value from the CSR card. Even after doing he math, I wanted to the opinion of real people since every article I can find online earns money through referrals. $450 seems like so much for an annual fee but based on my family size and knowing we like to do at least one or two trips a year I’m going to get it. Thanks 🐠 !
It was good when there was a 100k point bonus and got the travel credit for 2 years with one fee. Go for amex plat for bonus now. I still have my csr
^ After the travel credit, the preferred only has a $65 lower fee than the reserve. If you value points at 1.5 CPP, you only have to spend $4300 on travel and dining to make the reserve the better option.
I might be the only person who doesn’t like it as much as the rest of the world. I always book free flights and stays via delta and SPG. Travel is where your chase pts go farthest but I don’t reap those. The 300$ travel credit is nice though
*$55. I can haz math?
Op after the 300 travel credit, it effectively costs 150 a month and 3x points on food will be excellent for your family
It’s amazing. You won’t regret it
It's a no brainer! Can you use my referal link?? :D
It might be better than it sounds. Pays for itself very quickly
OP please use my referal :)
This a really easy decision to model
I have the sapphire preferred and love it. Lower annual fee ($95) and 2x travel points.
