This would be great

McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.
Looking for some book recommendations :)

I don't like Trump for many other things but on this one, I support him. Please do it, Mr. President.
In full support of this

For whom would this be great exactly?! Not for American consumers, not for American companies, and not for India, so who’s left?
Well there are many manyyyyy other options, the world does not stop after US and India you know
Would be awesome but wont happen! Their cost structure would disintegrate completely.
Are we saying no more outsourcing at all, or just to India? Is Pakistan ok? Can I near-shore to Costa Rica? What about Canada? Are we going try different industries too? Is this how we get rid of all those damn Mint Mobile ads?
You're only getting Mint Mobile ads, because you keep looking up Ryan Reynolds
Supportive but big $$ will stop him from proceeding just like how the airlines were able to have Trump bring back hidden costs and avoid financial accountability for flight delays
So much for the free market
Trump will do this the day pigs fly
well, it is happening to an extent
The reason for tech companies transfer was due to lower cost & less tax payments, so tech companies were making more profit & return on investment.
Blocking or just putting a tariff on it? Because if it’s a tariff, I don’t think anything would change just cost of a project probably go up.
More expensive off shore resources resources makes paying for on shore resources more appealing. That is the point of tariffs. To level the playing field.
Yes the price of the project goes up and our clients need to reset their expectations of what programs cost.
On the flip side we just accept that we cannot compete on price with other countries and throw in the towel. The quality argument only goes so far when procurement sees the bill.
Obama tried that and failed
M6 Try to take an H1B pay into india and see what happens. Stop evading taxes
