I don’t need to do anything special to make it “worth it”. The flexibility that comes with it is good enough
I actually work more hours as WFH than I do going into the office, which is a downside. I'm online oftentimes before 8:00am & rarely reemerge from my home office before 6:00pm. I must be a rarity based on many of these comments which makes me fear is the perception, and why more companies will do a RTO. The perks are that I save a ton of money not needing gas every week or eating lunches out, I can elude coworkers who would otherwise be at my desk wanting to chat, no longer needing to dress professional head to toe, and being able to quickly retrieve Amazon deliveries so they're not sitting outside in plain sight (big perk around the holidays).
Same. I work longer hours too but the benefit of not having to commute an hour each way makes up for it.
My answer was so juvenile
Work til 9pm
exactly this. hit the gym/spa/grocery shopping mid-late afternoon, then back online after dinner.
I wake up 10 minutes before my first meeting, get a 10 minute shower at my first break, don’t have to fry my hair or put on makeup, and I wear jeans and t-shirts every day. But honestly, I am getting more hours from work and more work done because I don’t have to take extra time to commute, pack a lunch, or wander around the halls looking for a conference room.
So so much extra time due to not having to: plan and iron fancy work outfits, make lunch, and commute.

Workout in bed 😉
Make it worth it? WFH for me is worth it because it’s how I can be in the workforce and also actually progress in my career.
I work from 8:30 in the morning until at least 5, but more many times after kids are in bed, etc. Having two young kids, it enables me to continue working if they are sick while being able to care for them, have a broken up work day if I need to take them to appointments (my oldest is autistic, and has a lot of appointments and other related intensive needs that would make a office role very challenging to keep), not lose time with commuting so I can get right to work when I drop them off and pick them up), and more. It also helps me focus to work from home without the noises and distractions in the office without seeming like an unfriendly person.
Personally, work from home isn’t something that I need to be fun, because it’s a necessity to be able to provide for myself and my family.
Work is called “work” for a reason-I don’t need it to be fun, I need it to serve its mutually beneficial purpose, and I’m good with that.
