Has anyone here worked at or worked with CMS Payments Intelligence (CMSPI)? I was contacted by a recruiter for a position there and have a first interview on Monday. I'm currently pretty happy with my current job so this would have to be something special to entice me to leave. Would love any info on the culture etc.

I’ve recently left my job (unhappy with it) and am applying for new work. I have a few irons in the fire at the moment. I’m curious about a trend I am seeing: I like to think I’ve well documented my abilities and functions in my CV, as well as my portfolio. I’ve noticed that for some of these jobs that I can check every single box in the job description, I won’t even get an interview. I’m wondering if many of these jobs are posted for internal hires, but some stay open for weeks. What gives?

4YOE @Amazon & trying to lateral to a similar role @FAANG. Have my undergrad GPA (3.8/4) on resume from top 15 school but colleague says to take it off (looks silly). If it’s a good school & high GPA, why ever take it off your resume? Even if 10 YOE...can’t hurt?

So after two weeks of waiting (and giving up on the idea of getting the job really), the recruiter got back to me.

They said due to month-end and quarter-end close they were busy and couldn’t get back to me as quickly for a “good update”.

The recruiter said the CFO enjoyed our call, she, the CFO, will call me next week directly to “discuss some final things”.

Not sure if Im hired or not, but are there any questions about the job, comp (cont.)

I applied to a job at KPMG and did the first two rounds of interviews, general interview, then case study and competency. Never before have I had such a positive feedback at the end of an interview of the 2nd, both said really like me, I did well etc.

Putting in my two weeks with no job lined up to spend some time with my family and volunteering. Anyone have experience with a gap in employment? Will this ruin my chances of getting a “good” job by January? Have I gone completely insane?

I recently was diagnosed with bipolar 2 disorder and although it’s provided a sense of relief and understanding, I’m hitting a low moment and I feel like all the inspiration and productivity I was just feeling has slipped away at the worse time. I’m trying to switch jobs because, to say it simply, my job doesn’t help with the depression. However, I still want to do great work until that time yet I’m struggling with motivation often. What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. This is a pretty weak confession, but didn't know where else to post it. Made a little LinkedIn faux pas, I thought I was clicking on a button to accept someone's request to connect, which I was happy to do. But, LinkedIn tricked me and I was clicking to request they connect w me, which I just would not have done... Didn't see a way to undo that.

I have completed 8 months in the current org and my Notice Period is 90 Days.
If I resign and serve notice , my tenure at current workplace will be 11 months.
Should I work for one more month and resign ?
Or should I resign right away and serve 2 months notice period and buy out one months notice ?
