A few months ago I discovered the most important thing I needed to do while applying to jobs was to apply quickly, right after a job was posted. This trick helped me land a strategy role at FAANG that I start in a few weeks. I’m thinking about commercializing this idea and making it easier for everyone to apply to jobs right after they are posted. Firstapp.io - please let me know what you think

sounds like a seinfeld episode
"The ocean called, they're running out of shrimp"
I’d rather skip lunch or eat a sandwich in a closet than show that disrespect to a candidate. Or pass the duty to a colleague
I find this unprofessional honestly. However, if the interviewer did set proper expectations, or even ask permission to the interviewee, even to the extent of giving his reasons for why doing so, and then the interviewee agreed, I believe it's all good. Did the interviewer at least offered or cared to share his/her food as courtesy or even decency?
Seems like a weird flex on their part
take it as a sign ppl there don’t even have time to eat! 😕
Seems kinda dickish but maybe it's just one of those things they couldn't help or schedule around
If that’s how they treat you now it will only get worse once you’re in the machine.
Did they say anything about it? Did it come across as more unaware or more rude? In the office, I’m assuming? Main impression is they’re very busy, because most people would rather not do that.
Yeah that sounds weird and like they’d probably not be... amazing to work for.
That's weird and rude, but I'd maybe give them a pass if they acknowledged it and gave some kind of explanation (ie: i'm diabetic and have to eat right now, pregnant, etc).
It’s a red flag that theyre a mess and the company might be as well
