D1 - it would heavily depend on the role. There are 5 lighthouse roles: D&A consultant, D&A modeler, data scientist, D&A engineer, and big data software engineer. If you have 1 or 2 roles you’re thinking about I can give you more info about the skills/experience we’re looking for
Not really. But if you teach yourself python and get good at it, you should be able to gradually move into more technical roles if that’s what you want. Lighthouse is very supportive of continuous learning and advancing one’s skill set.
OP and P1 - message me. I can take a look at your resume and put in a referral to increase your application visibility if it’s a good fit
@KPMG1 you are a good person, do you happen to know what sort of skills/exp they are looking at for the analyst level? 1-2 years experience I mean
D&A consultant I believe, I’ve been scoping out requirements for data analyst roles since I have a business undergrad degree, but your data scientist role is probably for grad degrees/heavy data science experience I’m assuming
D1 - yep, I think you would align best with the consultant role as well. For the consultant role, we generally look for people who have experience identifying use cases, documenting requirements, and have a good high level understanding of how AI, data, analytics, machine learning, etc. fits into a business environment.
Thanks! Do consultants at lighthouse code too? I’ve been learning python to try and break into something more technical
