No WLB. Lots of dinosaur partners who will have you sit in the office with them and print their stuff because they can’t be bothered to do it themselves. They are notoriously cheap too.
Somewhere between bush league and better than unemployment
I’m surprised by these responses. I’m not corporate or in NY, so I can’t speak directly to that group/office. But in litigation, A&B is normal- you have 2000 billable requirement and most associates hit right around that (a handful of associates hit 2300+ in a busy trial year, but 2000-2150 is by far the norm). The corporate associates I know (caveat- none are in NY) all hover right around 2000, too. So if the partners who do the type of corporate work you do are in other offices, then that may make a big difference?
Your info was super helpful SA1. Don’t let A3 troll you.
Wow! All so shocking since they boast so much about their culture!
Looks like you now know why. Ime, firms focused on advertising those accolades over practice group strength and firm opportunities are usually doing so to hide something deeper. But again, better than no job at all, and still some ATL culture, so sweaty but with a side of a peach cobbler, ya’ll.
