So I've been waitlisted for a BCG R1 interview and was wondering if there was anything at all that I could do to improve my chances of getting off the waitlist?? Don't have any offers to leverage...but did get an R1 from McK

like

Read that McK is paying 2K higher than BCG this year which means BCG will probably raise again next year to at least match. However, they can’t just copy McK with 2K to match because that would look bad so they’ll have to beat it again. Then McK and Bain will follow. Barring a devastating recession, I’m guessing this means MBB is all getting raises again next year?

I am in NY for the holidays and I picked up the longines master for $2050 at Macy's. I have always wanted one, but I just saw it on Jomashop on sale for $1400 and I am having some serious buyer's remorse. I am thinking of returning it and buying from Jomashop. Yay or Nay? Is Jomashop reliable?

Thanks.

I have family members who are inside claims reps for a large company. The company sends out emails 4 times/day showing who is currently not available for calls. currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

My dilemma… I am an injury adjuster at a carrier experiencing high inventory that’s barely manageable. A competitor offered a higher salary and manageable workload. BUT, I would like to get into underwriting. I applied for UW position w/ a different carrier and they’ve made an offer. It’s lower than my current salary and significantly lower than what I’d make by taking the first offer. Do I take the high salary and stay in claims or go for UW in hopes it will be best in long run?
