Agree on the Aeron, bought mine 9 years ago, still the most amazing chair to sit in. I picked up used one on craigslist.

You trying to bang in the chair or...?

How about Autonomous ErgoChair 2? A bit expensive but fully adjustable
Herman Miller Aeron. Maybe Steelcase. Just be ready to pay for what you’d like.

Same, regarding the Sayl
The Steelcase Gesture is one of the better looking office chairs I’ve found. Bought one with my Deloitte wellness subsidy a few years back (there’s also a discount through Perks at Work) and left it with my parents when I moved across the country — they love it. Considering an Eames Aluminum Group chair now (or, rather, probably a knockoff because I can’t afford to spend >$2k on a chair yet) although it’ll probably be less ergonomic.
I’m a petite female in case that makes a difference in recommendations... I.e. everything needs to be adjustable
I just use a regular chair and make sure you have a footstool, makes it way easier for my back

Have you thought about a gamer chair?

Hope about Autonomous ErgoChair 2? Fully adjustable, a bit pricy (on sale right now for ~350) but worth it IMHO. A company I used to work at had them and they were great.

What aesthetics style are you going for? Most ergo chairs aren't going to fit into a non modern style. Personally, I have Herman Miller Embody and love it.
The Embody is very sexy. I may go for a Herman Miller. Looking at options now
