Trying to furnish a new place, any recommendations on where to get furniture at a good price?

Hello kindergarten teachers I have a question for those in the New York area. I have a son going into kindergarten in a few days. My question is what knowledge is he expected to walk in knowing?

Is there an appropriate way to turn down an assignment because it is non-billable? Two of the partners I work for keep asking me to write client bulletins and articles with them, which is great, but now I’m starting to worry about meeting my billable hours requirement.

Do partners at top consulting firms have better WLB?

Considering a move to NTT Data in a healthcare consulting role. Mixed reviews in the bowls. Major concerns are bench policy, staff aug roles, 2 week PTO, and high turnover due to job dissatisfaction. Recruiter and mgr had great things to say around growth and opportunity, which doesn’t align with feedback from the bowls or Glassdoor.

I was told by a recruiter that M at Deloitte doesn't make more than 180. Just curious if that's actually true and if anyone had experience negotiating higher salary than 180.
