Asking for my girlfriend. She has 3 years of experience doing service desk type work and really enjoys being in IT. But is unhappy with her current pay (under 55k). Hey all, having issues with interviewing this year. I’ve been passed over every opportunity I really want and I’m unsure how to regroup and move forward. I’m really trying to break into method development roles and I haven’t had the opportunity to do so with my analytical experience. A lot of my HPLC and LCMS experience is with already established methods. Any tips?

I'm at an early stage tech start up and gaining experience in an industry that I like. However, I am getting no formal training or sales coaching. Everything I've done so far (Inc. Targeted marketing and prospecting) has been self taught and I feel like I am lacking professional knowledge if I was to move onto a different company, especially considering that I am not involved in the full sales cycle.

I have my exit interview tomorrow. Any tips? Have any of you written down what you wanted to say? I’m leaving advertising and moving so I’ll probably never see these people again.

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️
