I received an email today from recruiter asking for a phone interview which I’m so happy to hear from but I applied about a month ago. I moved on and applied internally for a different role as a transfer. This new role is a promotion and my start date is next week. I immediately responded back to the recruiter and agreed to the phone interview for tomorrow 5/4…. Do I mention any of the above to them? Do I tell them I just accepted a new role and different position? Please advise

Hi ladies! I feel I am ready to find a more managerial role: manager, supervisor, director, etc. I usually take positions I am over qualified for, which leaves me underpaid and not very challenged. However, I think not having previous manager experience holds me back as well. How does someone get manager roles without having manager experience? Someone has to yes in order to gain it, right?!
