PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

Hello fellow Fishes I have an offer from persistent. Need some clarity on same. I want to know the grade system in persistent. What does 7.1 mean? Is 7.1 a right fit for an total experience of 10+ years? What is the appropriate CTC for an architect designation? I want to know if I am getting it as per experience.

When I was in Denver I worked a contract in DC for 9 months and they started early. They had some 7am meeting their time. When that was up, I started working for London based company so I kept waking up at 4:30 to be online at 5. It was rough and several years later I still wake up way too early.
I’ve worked east coast hours for years and I get 5am is rough. But it’s nice getting off before 5pm.
I work with an Atlanta company, but luckily, they have employees all over the country. Meetings for us are always between 7:30 and 1:30 PST so that every time zone in the US is able to join without it being way too early or too late. I love not ever having a conference call late in the afternoon.
Most of my colleagues are in Western Europe and my boss is on the East Coast. My calls start at 6am, but it is nice that I rarely have a call after 3pm
You work early means you will be done earlier than the rest too. If you have a regular work you will still have to wake up early because you have to prepare yourself too. What difference does it make?
OOF I would not want to get up that early.
Can you compromise to make sure your first meeting isn't until say 7:30am? You'd have to convince your manager that 6-7:30 would still be productive focus time
