Video interview - pre-first round with BCG with a principal to discuss the group and fit. Should I be in a suit or business casual with jacket ok? (I.e. No tie)

I’m not from an English speaking country but I am watching a tv show and businessmen walk into a room and instead of greeting eachother, everyone says each person’s first name in lieu of hi, however in my experience working in the states, I haven’t seen anyone do this, it’s always hi or good afternoon or some other greeting first THEN they say their first name. is it also appropriate to omit the greeting?

Hello anyone reading this! I wanted to ask for any realistic, recommended job positions from someone with more knowledge and experience. I am graduating this December with my BBA and am ready to leave the job I’m in now. I’ve been applying for a range of positions I qualify for and nothing so far, which I expected. Anyone have any advice or insight on interviewing for a GS General Attorney position? I’m really excited and working to prepare for an interview I’ve been offered. It’s 3 part, on one day. 2 one on one interviews and a panel interview. For reference, it’s a position in an agency that’s involved in both trade and national security. I’m a litigation junior associate in private practice now, but have a long academic background in international trade, policy, and security.

Any pros/cons in taking a 3 year term appointment? I am curious if this would make me any more or less marketable when positioning for other federal positions down the line? TIA!
