I had a disbarred attroney interview for a assistant position. The conduct was effectively she had emotional issues, abandoned her clients and then was disbarred.

She seems as if she got the help she needs and can move on productively. The pros are she can effectively do everything I do and she is cheep. (For obvious reasons).

Hi, I finished my onsite last week and recruiter reached out today saying we’re finalizing the interviews with candidates for the role , and should be in a position to make a final decision on who to progress with by end next week. Is the MI role worth delaying transition to industry? Current exit drivers - dissatisfaction of work/project selection (industry focus and topics), updated leadership direction/strategy, total disregard for boundaries (esp bad since WFH). TIA

What does the progression track look like for post-mba consultants at MBB? Specifically, are there notable differences in promotion timing amongst the firms? I’ve noticed on LinkedIn that several BCGers have reached principal level in 3.5 years (2 as consultant, 1.5 as PL) whereas it seems to take a minimum of 4 years but sometimes even 5 for McK to reach AP level (which I believe is the equivalent?) Is this an accurate assessment?

Looking for some sincere advice. I absolutely bombed a case interview today. I’m defeated. I performed as well as someone with zero preparation after over a month of prep. I seem to always panic, I get disorganized, I’m flustered and lose sight of important relationships in cases. I feel like I need a complete overhaul. If you are hired to a particular BCG/McKinsey office (eg Amsterdam) but you want to start for a few months in New York due to personal reasons, who pays your salary New York office or Amsterdam office. I’m in the middle of negotiations and I don’t want a LCOL salary in a HCOL city

If anyone has gone through a short term transfer (less than 1 year) please let me know how it went with salary payment and taxes
