Want to share something positive for holiday week:

I’ve been trying to figure out an exit plan for years, and started off by going freelance + exposing myself to a wider range of projects, now I’ve built a solid enough network and client pool to be able to not rely on advertising at all for my income. Such a relief and so glad I made that pivot a while ago when everyone else thought it was too risky. But hey better make that change yourself than being let go / forced out when shit happens.

What are some of the best books you've read for relationship advice?

What’s the different between business analyst and data analyst? Sometimes I see them merged or people say “business/data analyst”

Signed up for a matchmaking service a couple months ago after getting tired of the apps. And while I’ve been underwhelmed with their process so far, I finally have my first match date this weekend. Haven’t been on a date since pre-pandemic. And never been on a true blind date like this. Wish me luck.

Would tech ib (m&a) be more affected than say Healthcare/pharma ib in an economic downturn?

Anyone have experience between choosing between an Industry position or making the final push (manager/SM level) for partner? How did you finally decide to go one way or the other and do you have any regrets?
