Hi Guys,
I have been assigned to a Unbillable Project, they are building one app and have recruited people from the talent pool. The project is not registered in GLOW. And they are calling it as Voluntary Contribution type project for studio. Is this what they call Internal Project in Globant?
Will there be any impact if I don't perform as per their expectations?
Will it be of any benefit to me if work in voluntary project? Will HR recognize this project contribution as valid work?

Yeah my project is dying for cloud first people and there aren’t any so I wouldn’t be telling them to prepare for bench time

If you have a solid SF or cloud background then you have solid work for the next 10 years atleast. You may have to move to the public sector after 6-8 years but if that happens then you won’t have to travel much, promotions will come easier, you will have to do less work, and you could possibly get paid more. Like I said in my initial post, all depends on how you play it.
People internally are trying to get into there too, 10% salary bonus for certain certifications, you have to know salesforce obviously that is what a lot of the work is because salesforce updated their UI and companies need help converting.
In terms of workload Accenture is like any other consulting company. You do what you need to in order to get the job done. Benefits aren’t as comprehensive as a Big 4 environment but pay can be better if you know you’re worth. The work is interesting and challenging, if you’re all about tech and want to keep up with the latest stuff I’d say definitely where you want to be. Finding projects can be a little challenging at first since you won’t have a network and you’re skill set may not be “HOT”. But you’ll be ok with Salesforce and Cloud as there is a lot of work in that space.
To add to that, you’ll have a lot of free time on the bench but use the bench sparingly. Ideally you always want to be billing and there are usually training opportunities when you are on the bench. Honestly it all comes down to what you make of it but it’s definitely not a bad choice by a long shot.
He would be going into cloudfirst so it’s a little bit different there is so much demand that there will be little benchtime. Lots of visibility there for promotions though.

Per cert?? I’m assuming it’s the more challenging certs, but goddamn Either way that’s great and I might have to look into those opportunities.

Not entirely- cloud first is the arm within technology that focuses on saas applications, and salesforce is just a speciality within CF

Yes the list is secret but there are many, think aws and some harder to get salesforce ones
is it pure tech implem work? if it is, how different is it from other Indian pure play companies in terms of type of work?
Definitely could be strategy work around implementation/rollout but the majority will be delivery opportunities
