I had my interview with Cognizant last month. HR round and salary discussion was completed on 27th September. The HR said offer letter would be released within 2weeks. Now it's already 2weeks. But I didn't hear back from the HR. What shall I do?Accenture Accenture India Tata Consultancy Capgemini

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
My wife started as an M at Accenture earlier this year coming from industry. I’ve never worked at Accenture or any b4, but I had to explain to her how up or out works. She also didn’t know that she came in with 24 months at level and what that meant. Really surprised none of this was communicated during hiring or by her manager.

We pay admin assistants the same amount honestly
Chief
Very different because of trajectory though
Chief
Yeah that’s absurdly low for that type of role
First year out of college analyst with no experience make that, I would find another opportunity asap

Yes.
Not sure how strong the data is on this, but it’s something to look at.
Please fight for yourself. They are taking advantage. Don’t let them use your old underpaid salary as benchmark. Use the market data to make a case and demand being compensated for your hard work. At worst they end up a little south of market but hopefully way higher than what you’re at. My base is 170k at director level but it might be a larger org than yours.
Everyone saying yes, look at their company. It could be company size + location. This sounds like an SMB in which case the salary is much more in line
Good context OP. Director at a 25B company should not be making $100K. You probably deserve double but I'd challenge you to examine your impact, involvement, or sphere of influence on revenue. It would also help if you had some sort of idea of the budget and so on for your area of the business. It could just be title inflation or you work in a business unit that is not prominent. I'm just making stuff up, I know nothing about your business, but you would know whether or not this makes sense in the larger business context better than us.
Rising Star
OP what is the career ladder there? Titles skew everything, can you give us more context.
That’s where it gets a bit convoluted if you ask me. The current role I’m in essentially blends our commercial retail staff with analytics and consumer insights. So on this end of the spectrum I’m at the top of that, if I were to move on further it would be more on the analytics strategy side (VP of Cust Dev) or the Commercial side (Account Executive) which both those roles arnt very easily accessible so it’s a bit of a plateau for now. And then above that would be VP/GM (commercial side) of said retailer partner.
That’s like entry level analyst comp
Just want to say thank you to everyone and their input on this matter
