Anyone in FP&A hiring?
Off topic: I am stuck in a service based company for last 4 years in a shitty project. The work I do can be done by a 12th grader. Now i want to move out by learning something new & changing my domain. But the thing is I am not able to study because I am stuck in a comfort zone and learning new thing gives me bad anxiety. It feels like I will never learn & be forever stuck here. Pls help on how to come out of comfort zone, learn things and apply for the job. Tata Consultancy Infosys Wipro

5% in the US. Putting in my notice tomorrow!
I have had several rounds of interviews for a role at Visa London office. When I reached out to the HR to check on progress/status after what they called the "final round", they said everything is positive and then set up another round with the hiring manager last week. TBH, that round seemed as if they want to make sure I have understood the job well. And there has been radio silence after that. Any idea how to read this? I have another offer and deliberating if i should just accept that.
Wow, so no more free lunches…what a joke

I work at VCA. There’s a broad variety of work, but all in payments (e.g., new product assessments, product refreshes, auth/fraud, embedded finance strategy, instant digital issuance strategy, etc.) and across the payments ecosystem (issuers, acquirers, merchants, processors, fintechs). I enjoy the work. What can be challenging is that other teams we interface with across Visa are not always as agile as we are, which can pose problems for timelines.
There is opportunity for growth, especially at the junior to mid-levels. The division as a whole is growing quickly. And people I’ve known have made exits to fintechs/consulting firms/other payments players or to different positions within Visa (VCA is viewed favorably within Visa for internal hiring).
Best of luck with the choice!
Also work at VCA and very much agree with the post above. Fast growing group with seemingly lots of opportunities for promotion at the junior/mid management level.
Regarding exit opps, over the last couple of months I’ve seen colleagues exit to MBB, OW, and Meta. So it seems to be viewed favorably outside of Visa as well

I’m in corporate finance and want to transfer to VCA. Is it difficult to move? I’ve been at the firm for a year now with 6 YOE total.
Ive been at VCA less than two years, so you probably have a better sense of internal mobility than I do. That being said, over the past couple months we’ve taken on a couple internal transfers, so it seems relatively common.
