PwC A recruiter from PWC reached out to me to ask if I’d consider a different office the one I applied to, since it’s full. It would be Boston, Hartford, Chicago, Minneapolis, Little Rock, Denver, San Francisco or San Jose. MSA candidate. Is there a fully remote option? Do you have to be in the office all the time? Is the compensation high at PWC? Is there a possible moving expenses? Any insight or advice would help me make a decision. Thank you!

For reference, I was offered 52k when I was just starting work as a recent grad in New York. And honestly, as an AAE, the salary range I’ve seen is anywhere between 45-60k even in HCOL cities so you’re fine.
Glad it isn't just me. A little disappointed the prospect didn't see the value in our offer but it is what it is I guess.
I think you're spot on. The ceiling on the negotiated salary should be $75K. It's entry-level, No way you pay $100k to a new hire that has so much to learn.
I'm wondering how long it is going to be before they finally cave and take another offer... it definitely won't be six figures. They're going to regret not taking ours.
$100k is probably what they should be paid in a perfect world, but $69k is definitely more than I was making when I started out not too long ago. They’re being delusional and will probably regret this in the near future.
Definitely delusional. I was making just over $40k when I started.
If it’s helpful, I started as a career pivot (no PR-specific experience but several years of adjacent experience and a year of marketing content writing experience) and was offered $55k down from $65k for lack of experience in a HCOL city, boutique firm ~3 years ago for an AE role.
It is actually criminal how little this industry tends to pay young professionals I get it. But I know we had a very reasonable offer.
I made $100K as an MAS with 8 YoE at a big agency in a medium COL city. A lot of agencies post salary bands in job postings. Def recommend looking there for additional insights, too.
Good call. How can I point this out to that prospective hire lol. Feel bad for the kid in a way.

I second what everyone here has said! I made $40K out of college in 2018 in New York, and didn’t reach $100K until I had ~4 YOE as an SAS. If you have a salary band that you can reference here, I think that’d be incredibly helpful for the new grad. I almost feel bad for the kid, honestly.
I was making $44k in my first agency job....8 years ago. I still wouldn't be making 6 figures if I was still there...
