20 hours minimum per year, 120 total for the multi-year period (three years). You may also have other requirements depending on the type of engagements you work on (A&A hours depending on the amount of hours you charge to audit engagements.)

I’m at a mid size transactional firm. I’m a total night owl and my partners have OK’d me starting the workday at around 11am because I regularly work until midnight or later. I get so much more done after dark! I still get some side eye from other associates, but 🤷🏽‍♀️

I just discovered that scheduling a call for 7 am the morning after a boozy team event is the best way to get easy agreement and consensus. No debating for the sake of debating when everyone is sleepy! 😂

Hey Guys! I’m looking for roommates with whom I could rent a 2BHK or 3BHK flat near Kharadi or Viman Nagar area, split the rent and all, I have already spoken to a few real estate people and we could get the possession of the flat by the end of November or even earlier. Comment or DM me if you know anyone who needs a room!

Does anyone have a similar experience? I interviewed with recruiters from two of "Big 4". Both interviews went well, and I was told the recruiters will submit my resume to the partners and senior managers for the next interviews. 3 weeks later, I received the rejection letters without the next interview. I wonder why the partners even not bothered to interview me. If it matters, I am a CPA with 3 years non-PA experience and applied for experienced associate positions. I appreciate any insights.

This is probably an odd question, but i just found out that the professor who is teaching a tax class I’m in for school, is the Tax manager from a local firm who is assigned to our taxes as a company (I’ve worked with him regarding our taxes).

This isn’t like conflict of interest or anything right?
