Why does insulin in the United States cost 10x what it costs in Canada?

I have IBS but it’s much worse when I eat out. Even when I order healthier options . Creams and dairy to bother me also . Do enzymes or dairy ease products work?

Thinking about getting a fitness tracker, like a Fitbit, anyone have any recommendations? Want to spend under $100, but willing to spend a bit more if it’s really worth it.

Does anyone have a list of the things (food, drink, other OTC meds) that make adderall less effective? I know I can simple google search and ask my doctor but want to hear other peoples thoughts…I love drinking my coffee to wake me up in the morning but I’m afraid it’s making my meds less bc of its acidic nature 😵

For those who had a successful pregnancy with ivf, do you remember when or if you had the symptoms? I am now 10 days post transfer and dont really feel anything except lazy and tired but that could also be from progesterone supplements.

Medicaid plans are so dysfunctional. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I’m being gas lighted after working for big commercial enterprises and now working on a Medicaid plan. I’ve never seen so much resistance to change or legit resistance to doing anything to improve operations.

Anyone struggling with imposter syndrome? When I worked for a very well known Fortune500 tech company I couldn't help but feel major imposter syndrome. One- I am a woman in a male dominated industry, I didn't go to a prestigious school like most of my peers and I just didn't think I deserved to be there. Everyday was a struggle and tried to keep myself small so no one would find out I was a "fraud." Looking back on it now, wiser and more experienced, I realized how detrimental feeling that way

What gym is the best in this city? I don't take a ton of classes so I just want a clean gym to lift weights. I'm looking for a mix of good value, large amount of equipment, and minimal wait times if possible

As of late, my work related anxiety has reached new levels and it’s really starting to affect me mentally. I’m part of a great team; I’m trusted and supported, have a great track record, there are no issues, and have been no incidents. Regardless, my professional self perception and confidence is so rattled as of late, it’s almost like a paralysis at times. I realize there are much larger problems right now, but if anyone has any tips or advice to get over this, I am all ears. Thanks all!

Have any of you asked for accommodations at work for your ADHD?

I ended my career on June 7. I was never going to retire. I was a K-6 Art teacher! I said I would never retire, teaching had been my identity and my life! Well, I changed my mind on the first day of school this year.

The “remote” teaching for a year did me in, but I stayed because I thought this year, things would be normal, teaching “in person.” I was excited.

I was so wrong because the behavior was unbelievable! I never had behavior problems bc I just took away the Art to manage the students.
The class always came around. I was committed to teach the entire school year. I did it!

I am so relieved that every single day in August will not feel like a Sunday night. The relief is grand!
