We transitioned from flexible hybrid to no exceptions coming in. It kind of makes me wonder if it wouldn’t just be a huge downturn in morale to give a perk like that and then take it away after a few months.
Yeah it can’t be good for the general energy and morale of the office, wfh just grants so much freedom that would be gone without it.
That kind of “trial” language can definitely feel unsettling, even if the intention is good. I haven’t had a WFH day taken away yet, but I know I’d feel pretty frustrated if it happened. It wouldn’t necessarily be a deal breaker for me, but it would definitely affect how valued I feel in the role.
Yeah I think it can’t sound like a great thing but the trial aspect makes it seem like it will be taken away at some point. Makes everything feel uneasy and it would probably be a deal breaker for me.
