What kind of accommodations can I ask for especially since I work from home? I am having an extremely hard time with the pressure and time constraints on getting the work done. I am a very fast pace worker but it’s like I can’t work fast enough here at this new job. And I don’t know what to ask for.

Went into the office today. The choice to come in was mine as the office is open but there’s no mandate.

Gotta admit, it was nice to have fast wifi, a crap ton of LaCroix I can drink (and take home), and just get out of my home office for a change.

Will I do this often? Doubt it. Is it a nice option to have should my wifi go out again? Yes it is.

Tone-deaf Super flashy firm owner with a $250k car, luxury watches, etc., constantly jokes about how expensive stuff is. Associates here get nickel and dimed on salary (less than $100k), no cost of living increases, no wfh, no bonus, mediocre benefits, and ridiculous hours expectations despite “no billables”. What a joke.

I am joining Citi next week and the team I’m assigned I heard has very hectic schedule and strict 3 days wfo and today I got a selection email from another company who are offering permanent WFH , due to certain internal approvals , the offer could be shared only next Wednesday, As I’m more inclined towards the latter. Is it possible to get early termination once my new offer comes through or I have to serve 3 months NP?

I am going to gross above the 2022 Roth limit, but my MAGI will bring me below the limit based on my maxing out of 401k. I am also expecting to receive 2 bonuses this year, one for $8k and another for a yet to be determined amount. Basically, I am right on the edge of the threshold and it is making planning confusing.
