Private school recommendation for children with autism? My goddaughter is 5 years old and was recently diagnosed with a mild form of autism. The family is worried about her going to public schools, especially with how understaffed they are.

To those of you who are planning to apply to MBA: Make sure you choose your recommender CAREFULLY. Really evaluate the person you’re requesting the letter from, their personality, and their relationship with you. You don’t want to be back stabbed like me 🙃

Currently 1.5 YOE and planning to apply in 2-3 years. Wharton is by far my number 1 choice (over H/S). I WANT TO BE YOU PEOPLE.

Enrolled in Stern for a few weeks.
The number of the alumni and current students that go to top consulting firms FT& summer intern are countless even for a small class size.
Stern is way more than a finance school. Given its location, do you want to spend your 2 years in a rural area or heart of Manhattan? Location is almost everything for business school. (I have a friend in Cornell that frequently travels about 5 hours to NYC for events.)

Posted about this a while back but didn’t get a definitive response. I have a bunch of Manhattan prep GMAT books from the past few years that have little to no writing in them. There’s probably 20 of them so pretty heavy but I’m looking to give this away to someone for free. Only thing is I asked for you to take all of them versus just a few. I am thinking about transferring to a much smaller private online program, specifically because they offer a concentration in organizational health, which directly builds on my doctoral research. Does great depth and specialization outweigh the value of a highly respected generalist degree?

At what point does the value of a degree fall off? I'm in my early 30s, and have five years of experience, and work on a very theoretically interesting project. I believe I'm on track to promotion in the next year. So, I could put in a year of full time school to check the box off, but I'd be sacrificing hobbies and social life (not to mention cost). Is this FOMO or is there real opportunity here?

I have a month left till my GMAT. Should I start solving the official questions timed or solve more untimed until I feel more comfortable? Asking because TTP is religiously advising on untimed strategy, but I’m currently struggling with timing especially CR; untimed sessions often make me take 3-4 minutes per question (80-90% accuracy). I just finished my MBA. I’d never even considered my masters until my employer paid for it. My MBA helped me get a huge pay rise and I’ve just settled into a new role that I love.

I’ve just been offered a full scholarship for a PhD in a topic I am passionate about, already an active advocate for and with academics I sincerely admire. The topic is directly for a study I already contribute to every year.

I want to transition into learning programming and decided the best roadmap for me would be to learn Salesforce, land an entry level admin job and develop my skills over time to transition into programming.
