Starting pay for RBT’s in South Florida and NY?
I got an offer from another company. Currently working in walmart. The main idea behind getting an offer is to ask for a salary rise. I was very much underpaid here. So I thought getting an offer will help increase my pay here in walmart by getting counter offer from them. But i am not sure if I discuss with my manager it will backfire me.Walmart

Hi all,
Do firms match offers from other Big 4s for campus hires? I’ve received a campus offer from both KPMG and EY. I’m more interested in the EY offer, but they are paying 3k less than KPMG.
Would it be a bad move to let them know about the other offer and try negotiating? I feel it wont make a difference in the long run, but at the same time I don’t want to leave any money on the table if possible.
Thanks!

My partner came in from somewhere else and makes 12k more than me (I moved up internally). I’m glad I know. If we get promoted together I expect us to be equal. We talk honestly about it.
Talking about salary is a good thing.
Don’t talk about it. It’s better not knowing You need to prove you’re worth what you’re being paid. Just because someone makes more than you is not a reason to get paid more.
I say ask, but be prepared to be disappointed. I’ve had this happen and we both got raises and we all discussed it, and they never gave me the 10k more to match what he made from
When we both started.
I was always honest with my partner and we talked about it as well
here's a life hack: knowing someone makes more than you will never make you resent them when you realize that it's not their fault, it's your boss's fault.
Thank you guys! All good things to take into consideration. We are at the same level but he has been in the game a year or so longer so I anticipate it will be different (with rationale). Thanks again!
