Currently a first year staff in Risk Advisory in a Mid-Tier Firm hoping to move to Big 4 for either Risk or Cyber. When would be the most appropriate time to make the change? I heard that Senior Staff in mid-tier would most likely be hired as an “Experienced Hire” in Big 4. So would it be smarter to make the move now as a first year staff since I’ll be considered Experienced Hire anyway?

Has anyone participated in the AWS Tech U program. I’m trying to break into solutions architecture and trying to use that. I am a consultant at D and wondering if this is a downgrade. Does anyone know level of the program, structure, pay? Any help appreciated

Some people are apprehensive about starting another bowl for all black attorneys because it will take away from this bowl. I have an offer for $130k for a senior attorney position in a boutique L&E firm. Also have a recruiter who thinks she can get me into another for $150-170k. Both are more than I’ve ever made (Denver, 17 yrs of experience but completely different practice areas). Any tips for countering the $130k offer for more using the other potential offer while not risking a complete withdrawal of the current offer? I’ve never been in a position to bargain my starting salary so this is all very new to me.

When I spoke with HR she said that their was some confusion and with name and they have send wrong offer letter but except my CTC and joining date everything was same my email id, my home address everything. And now I have been asked to wait, HR says they will raise again. And its been 3 days now I can not accept the previous offer also and I cant even resign from my current company. What should I do?

How does one try to learn Altyrx with no experience and no (current) access to it? I work at a small firm and am going crazy with so many inefficiencies in repetitive tasks occupying myself and my staffs time.
