Plante Moran ranked # 1 for job satisfaction on Big 4 Transparency for what it’s worth, doing something right

Yes, I saw that and that sparked some interest. I just want to know what’s out there before I start applying or asking for referrals.

like

That’s a lie. There are great benefits at PM, if you want a referral DM me.

But…help OP out and answer the question if there are in fact good benefits 🤷‍♀️

like

I would assume the benefits are the same for all groups at PM.

Is there a point in reaching out to HR if I am being mentally tortured in the project. My project manager has cancelled my leaves which I planned 2 months in advance and approved for the person who is very close to him (Chaatu). Will the HR help me here or start giving me gyaan about company policies.

Should I disclose or hide the fact that I am on maternity leave? I have an interview with a big law firm in NY. I’m currently working for a law firm in Atlanta. I imagine I will be asked whether I have returned to the office or working remotely from NY. My husband and I have been living in New York since the pandemic to be near family. My current firm asked everyone to go back last week but since I am on leave I didn’t have to. I want to avoid lying without jeopardizing my chances.

I had 4 deals die/get pushed this December, so this month was significantly slower than anticipated. Additionally, the main partner I work with has been out for months with a serious health issue. I’ve been at my company for 10+ years. I’m not happy with the culture but have flexibility I enjoy, seniority for the time I’ve been here, and pays well. An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower. If I stay, I will be Director in few years. What will look better on a resume in the future, continued growth in 1 company or experience in more than 1 company?
