Has anyone found dating having kids challenging?

I’m just kinda feeling lost, a bit like a failure , and maybe tired . I’m 30 f, single, moved to a new town, studying for the cpa, had falling out with the first two friends I made in new town, deeply missing my friends from back home, work has been a lot - job hopping . The partner was so excited and quick to give me an offer. I feel like I’m 💯 at this point just disappointing him. Idk what advice someone could give me , but has anyone else gone through “just surviving period”

Men marry their second mom.

Getting married in September, have a vax only policy for guests. My fiancé’s sister is bringing her unvaccinated spouse to the hotel where all the wedding festivities are being held b/c she is too scared to fly on an airplane without him. I find this incredibly uncomfortable and selfish given it will put me and my fiancé in an uncomfortable position (and it will also put my elderly parents and other vulnerable fam members at risk). Any ideas as to what (if anything) to do?

Wondering if I should look into anxiety meds (or if I’m just a baby and need to get used to this life).

I'm launching a small PE firm and need advice on structuring equity for early founding team members.

I don't want to give up equity in the firm for several reasons but I do need to incentivize my team.

Should I offer phantom stock or form a subsidiary LLC and issue stock in that but always own the parent co? Or just offer carried interest for deals they each manage?

Happy wife happy life is a really toxic saying. I’m just shocked how this has become the standard saying for men in relationships. I have friends of mine saying this all the time, and I have just thought it’s so cringe and always want to say my thoughts on it but always decide to hold back. However, imagine the saying reversed - happy husband happy life - that would lead to all kinds of uproar. To me happy wife happy life means I need to sacrifice my wants and needs to make my wife happy.

I’m in an interesting dilemma. Very interested in leaving my company, but I am also going through IVF. I know most new jobs require a year wait before you can go on maternity leave. Does anyone know a great company to work for that does not require this? Obviously, I’m getting a bit ahead of myself, but if this works, I don’t want to accept a job and not be paid for maternity leave because I am doing this solo. Appreciate all the help!

How have you combated your fear of rejection? I fixate on such small things as when my friends, for example, reject plans I have made. This definitely makes me more averse to putting myself out there and makes me ruminate on past perceived failures, which are clearly not good for personal growth

Has anyone actually found love at work? My best friend started at a new company 6 months ago and she just took an offer somewhere else because she and her senior manager fell for each other. After 6 months she knew it was worth leaving her job for! I figure if anyone can understand this, it’s you all. I feel like I’m losing my damn mind. I have always loved communications, and I’m really good at it. I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?

I finally did it. I quit and turned in my resignation in June. I’m now have been working from home for United Health Care. I wished I would have done this years ago. I started teaching right out of college 20 years ago and thought all jobs were as bad as teaching I was so wrong. My new job is not stressful I now have a normal life and look forward to going to work.
