Anyone recently received a tax manager offer from EY ? I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

Keep grinding towards Director, but don’t stop looking! You’ll want pay and title increases to make leaving worth while.
I would not go for a 20k decrease!
I’m in the same boat and I’m okay with it tbh. I like the progression I’ve had at EY and I’m pleased with my last raise. But I understand what you’re saying! I guess it depends where you want to go with your career.
10+ years. You already put in the time. If you are not happy, try the new job. Tax jobs are in high demand and you could always boomerang back to your current job.
