Has anyone quit their job because of a relationship? I started my job 3 months ago and now my employer wants me to move to NY. So, the CDC removed the Covid guidelines. I’ve never had Covid. I’m afraid people will come into work not wearing a mask and be inconsiderate… ughhh so distracting and disgusting. I’m also at risk to develop complications. Not sure if I should talk to HR. Not even sure if I should ask for accommodations to continue being able to wfh at least most days of the week to reduce risk. Idkkkk 😩This is so unprecedented. I always wear my mask at work. I’m getting pressured to attend firm events as well

Hey guys… I’m a case worker in child safety and I’m someone who loves being outdoors/dies at a desk all day. I’m hoping to organise that at least once a week I can go to a cafe and catch up on all my case notes that need to go into the system.
So far the only reason I’ve been told no is that “if you do then everyone will want to and then no one will be in the office” … how can I convince them that I work better out of the office and get this freedom & mental break for myself?

I'm a product engineer and it's hard to turn off work mode at the end of the day, I think of how products *should* be packaged when I'm shopping and can't understand why my wife doesn't care 🤷
