What are the most common exit strategies for someone working in Forensics at the Big 4? As in, where do people usually go after?

I’m interviewing for a compliance role with Edward Jones. I’ve been in wealth Management for 10 years and I’ve never interviewed for this type of job before. What should I expect from the questioning? I’ve never been in compliance before, would they really take me or am I filling a quota?

Is it bad to ask the recruiter during a screening call about the maximum salary for the role? I currently earn $110k as an AS in pharma, but know that the average for the same title in consumer setting is lower. I saw on glassdoor that the maximum salary for this new opening is at $120k...

I see people get their MBAs from top schools and will land jobs that are wayyy beyond what they would with their normal years of experience - like people with 4 yoe + 2 years of mba getting senior manager or director roles when they were still like senior analysts before going back to school. Why is it that a $200,000 degree and a few extra credits suddenly gives someone all these new skills and an additional 4 years of experience? Am I missing something here

I recently got SHRM Certified Professional certificate and am doing contracting for Whole Foods remotely in an HR/Unemployment role. But, I really need something that pays better than $27.50 an hour and no benefits. The thing is...I think I don't believe in myself enough because I grew up poor and have struggled to even get this far. I’d like to work for the FBI either as a Special Agent or Professional Staff as a Forensic Accountant. I am currently a Senior Forensic Accountant at a public accounting firm but we mainly handle commercial damage calculations, business valuations, and SOME investigations that one might think of as “was there fraud? We’re not sure, please Mr. Forensic Accountant can you take a look at our QBs?”
Question: is this experience preferable to the FBI? Or do they prefer the AML professionals? CPA + CFE

For those of you who have taken the CFE exams recently what did you use to study? Likes and dislikes of whatever material you used? Any recommendations for someone who is about to start studying?

Can someone give me some insight on the CAMS prep process and exam? Time frame, rigor etc?
