Bain & Company Atlanta people! I’m in the process of applying for MBA programs and wanted to ask what recruiting is like for MBB from Emorys program? Is there a reasonable shot at getting into the Atlanta office from Emory, or are those openings primarily filled by other schools (Duke, UVA, etc.)

Midtown and ViHi are great. West Midtown is throwing up buildings quick tho so may look into that. I also like the Beltline areas but would stick to East/north parts of Atlanta. How old are you/where do you go out most? Buckhead may be good but generally a younger crowd than some areas
Feel free to DM me EY. I have a friend looking into buying too and she’s a single F so we’ve been discussing options for a while.
Check out some midtown condos based on that and your other criteria. Flexibility wise with so many offices going up and GT close by. Easy to get everywhere quickly. Marta access. Piedmont park, restaurants, bars in walking distance. And all relatively safe compared to similar central options.
Thanks!!
Budget and space requirements? A lot of the named areas are great but also super expensive

Midtown is good for ease of transportation to go to a lot of different areas. Brookhaven is also building a lot of properties out there the past few months and that’s relatively a safe area where they have 2-3 bedroom homes. Other areas in close proximity is West Midtown (close to where the Atlantic Station is) and it’s becoming more urbanized with corner stores and bars.
For a good run for your money, I would recommend Sandy Springs/Dunwoody as well. They are building a lot of property there and more offices are being established. Farther up north is Alpharetta, which is great but it’s more family-oriented. Not sure if that’s your long-term goal.
