What do you think about these two books if you have read them: 1) Thinking fast and slow, 2) Emotional intelligence by Daniel Goldman.

Thinking Fast and Slow was fairly dry and academic in my opinion. But I did push through and finish it.

How helpful/informative was it?

Thinking fast and slow is a slow read, but I loved it. Found it insightful and practical knowledge (overcoming our minds’ pitfalls in real life is much more challenging, though). However, there are other ways to get the same content without reading the book. Harvard Business Review had some articles written by Kahneman where he boils down his findings, and they're just as helpful.

Thinking fast and slow is wayyyyy too slow lol

So I’m in industry from big 4, and a colleague with same yoe comes from MBB. High paying tech firm. I think I work harder and produce quality content at speed, but they can hold executive conversations that tend to impress senior stakeholders.

Big 4 produces work horses and MBB produces leaders. Also they could be a work horse too since I don’t have full visibility.

Anyone have similar experiences or do I just suck at executive stakeholder management?

I am in the process of finding administrative assistant interns from our local universities. In an effort to make my job opportunity appealing, I am asking everyone in this bowl about an appropriate job title. Is "Administrative Assistant" outdated or unappealing? I certainly don't want to mislead anyone on the job responsibilities, but I do want to avoid any potential negative stereotypes attached to that job title. Are there alternative titles that you find more appropriate for 2022?
