This year apparently less then when I wasn’t being promoted
It varies but in my experience non-promotion raises are typically 2-6% depending on performance. I’ve once gotten something like 12% when not getting promoted but that’s an exception.
Promotions are typically 8-20% depending on circumstances. Average is closer to 10-12% but if you’re under paid in the new range, perform exceptionally, or have other circumstances that dictate a higher increase I’ve gotten 20% ish bump.
Again just my personal experience, and economic / financial environment will also factor into this.
To be honest they really aren't great. Most places I have worked the average raise is about 3% and if you are promoted that can be anywhere from like 5% to 9%. I would say that is pretty standard at most companies.
