After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

All for it. The only people against it are the ones trying to underpay employees. I'll happily share with anyone who asks.

100% with you here
I really don't care about it all that much, but I never talk about what I make. I just see it as my own personal business. And I'm aware that salaries can vary because of education, experience, and even when someone came into the company. It also can just mean someone was a better negotiator.
Pro
I personally don't think someone should be getting paid more because they are a better negotiator! Pay people that they are worth!
People can share if they want....not sharing mine. Like to keep it between me and my employer
I wouldn't like it but I wouldn't make a stink about it either. I think it'll create animosity between coworkers and accusations of favoritism to those who really focus on these. There is a lot of subjectivity involved in deciding who brings more value to the table and what the compensation for that should be. The human trait of envy would kick in and this would lead to a toxic work relationship.

I would love for salary transparency. Unfortunately I’m not very close to my coworkers and it is quite a taboo subject at my company.

I feel like that's very common tbh
Agreed. It should always ultimately be a matter of choice for each person, but I've seen situations where sharing has revealed large and unjustified pay differences which were then corrected later. I think by more of us doing this, the better.
Pro
Yeah exactly, that's my logic that is shows pay differences that are most of the time unfair
Not a fan. It's a private matter between the employee and employer. If you want to know your coworker's salary, you could just ask your coworker
No I wouldn't ....don't really bother myself on what my coworker makes even if it's considerably more than mine with less value provided. I just want the compensation that I asked for. These are private matters. I would actually be happy for someone else as it would seem that they negotiated a better package. This happened with my current employer where me and a coworker joined as contractors. I was offered a full time position after 3 years and I gave my expected salary range and position which they accepted. The other contractor was offered a full time position a few months later and asked for a higher role which meant a higher salary. I found out after the org chart was updated a while later....while I was surprised to find out there was more on the table that I missed, I was happy she actually got it.
The bottom line is that I negotiated my salary with my employer based on what I thought I was worth for the value I provided. I've been in this situation earlier in my career where I felt I stayed too long at the same employer and my wages weren't increased based on market dynamics and newer joinees were being paid more. So i started looking for other opportunities because I knew the market would pay me more and when my boss got wind of it, he worked with management and HR to offer a considerable pay hike during my next appraisal and until that happened, I was placed onto more challenging projects.
