I think it's with the staff. Patients I only see for a few minutes and then they leave. Staff are with me all day 5 days a week so it's hard to let go of things and to deal with them. They have their own issues, I have my issues, I'm trying to run my practice, it can be overwhelming at times.
no client or patient has ever stressed me out more than working with under-trained or rude staff
It's always really tough treating rescue patients that have been abused in the past. They get really snappy and defensive. Sometimes we have to put them to sleep while we do the procedure.
It never gets easy to tell pet owners that their pet isn't going to make it especially with children. They are always devastated. It breaks my heart everytime
For me it's the staff. We have protocol and some of the staff feels like they don't have to follow it and that they know better which causes problems
Right now I am transitioning offices so with that some of the staff is leaving and we're on-boarding new hires. So training while also trying to run an office is really hardd
