Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Is 20% a standard for your industry? It’s a hugely variable number. Internal management promotion is around 10% where I am.
It depends on where you are in terms of comp vs the market. Typically about 10% to 20% plus a one time bonus. Absolutely, you should negotiate - just make sure you do your research or the conversation can go south quickly.
I've usually heard it to be in the 15% range. If you want 20% and you think you can get it, make an effort at negotiating. Make the strongest case you can for yourself. The worst that can happen is they'll say no.
I think this varies widely by industry and location.
