Hey guys. I have a technical interview with AlixPartners restructuring and turnaround team. This is for their summer intern position. I didn’t come from a restructuring background. I interviewed with a company last week and the interviewer said he would submit my notes to the hiring manager and I would hear back this Monday from HR on next steps/if they want to move forward. I didn’t hear back yesterday so I emailed HR and she said she wasn’t part of the hiring decision so would reach out to the initial interviewer for his feedback. I haven’t heard from her and it’s been 24 hours - starting to get worried. What should I do? Does this mean they’re not interested?

Is someone here stuck on the job title because of the GC processing? I am just so frustrated… it’s making me mentally exhausted since I’ve been working as a Senior for 5 years already. My PERM is still in process and planned to be filed next year.

Immigration lawyers had sent me a questionnaire to fill out for Manager PERM. They now just came back saying that they need to assess me for a different position. Anyone else experience this? I wonder if this means they’ll now just file a Senior Perm instead? Asked them but they’re not very responsive.
