Oof. In a perfect world, you would have been able to iron this out before the Monday meeting. Since that's not possible, I guess I'd just report on the portion of the project you've been working on before passing the mic to the non-responder. "I've been working on this side of the project, COWORKER can you give an update on this?"

Yes I agree.
The temptation to call them out!! However, I probably would lean against that. Concern that it would backfire and make me look bad instead. I would 100% cover myself in it, then just leave the door open. The CEO will probably put the pieces together anyways.

Thanks!
Creating a dramatic scene in front of the CEO wouldn't be a good idea. But you might as well take advantage of the situation and give the best report you can. If there are things where you need input from the other person, let them fill in as best they can. If you can find a graceful way to mention that you hadn't been able to coordinate before the meeting that might make sense, but it can be a delicate balance between clarifying that and creating a controversy.

Update: I took the advice of making a good report for my responsibilities. Thanks!
