I cashed out some Amex points for HD gift cards and pulled the trigger on a benchtop planer. I absolutely love it. Now I need a dust collection setup, but regardless, the benchtop planer is amazing.

Hello Fishes,
I cleared the Level 2 interview as an Appian developer. Could you please let me know what Level 3 interview would be about? Thr HR said it's an interaction session with the panel. But should I be prepared technically?

Hi fishes,

Had an interview with Hexaware and 3 days back HR1 called me and said she will send the offer letter next week. 2 days back HR2 called me and said a client interview is scheduled for you and I attended that. Now if I fail to clear the client interview round, will I not receive the offer letter that is promised by the HR1?

Hi guys!
Who is working two 1099 EA remote jobs at the same time? Or one full time and one part time. I might have two offers in two different industries that I love and I want to grow in both… 😅 I will be supporting one C-Level in each of them.

Hello recruiters, happy Monday!

I want to know why recruiters ask me in an interview if I am looking at other opportunities, or if I am interviewing at other companies. If I say yes they will ask at what stage I am.

I just want to know the reason behind it and if there is a right answer to this question!

Has anyone built a barn home? Would you be interested in talking about the process, costs, and considerations? We're looking at that and would be interested to better understand how to get going.

Anyone here own a saw stop PCS or a Powermatic PM2000? Ive been setting aside money in my woodworking slush fund for a good cabinet saw to replace my contractor saw, and I’m intrigued by the SS’s hotdog sensing technology. Eager to hear opinions from anyone who owns one of the two saws.

Well guys and gals: I did it. I found a way to merge consulting and woodworking. I present to you a walnut shoe rack full of Allen Edmonds shoes. Still need to put some finish on it and complete a second identical one for the closet. Addl. pics below

Any fish here have a Sawstop? I’m about to buy one and just want to get some input from others with one.

Let's talk dust collection. So I was under the impression that dust collection would clean up a lot of the sawdust. Right now, I'm using a shop vac. Currently, anything that doesn't get directed out the dust collection port piles up. Is that normal? Should I get a second shop vac?

For example, was belt sanding 100 stamp blocks. Stopped every 20 or so to clean up dust pulling up at edge of sander.

What's a good starter electric saw for cutting lumber at home? Would prefer it be portable since I don't have a fixed workspace yet.

Wanted to share some advice for anyone looking at track saws. I just bought the bare WEN 6.5” unit ($145.29) and paired it with the Powertec guide rail set ($119.89) and came away with a solid setup at a (comparatively) cheap price ($265).

I was considering the Makita ($585) or Dewalt ($790) setups since those are my normal go-to brands, but couldn’t stomach the cost.

Highly recommend it!
