Vienna. Just incredibly liveable.
I would say Prague or Vienna. Beautiful, full of culture and relatively cheap in comparison to other cities.
Doesn't matter if you work 80h a week, you don't get to see the city anyway
Barcelona
Weather is great most of the year. Lifestyle is quite chill and salaries are surprisingly decent once you’re not entry level anymore.
I heard the work hours are brutal in Spain when they come up to the Netherlands. But we mostly work 9-5 here and not too much overtime
Como
Just an hour north of Milano
Zurich
In the heart of Europe, everything works and strong salaries
At most big companies English is the main business language. Therefore, -and especially if you already have some experience- finding a job without knowing German can perfectly work out.
Working in the French-speaking area also doesn’t require German.
However, additional languages -especially German, French and Italian- are a big plus.
Ps: Please feel free to DM me for referral to Deloitte Switzerland
Stockholm - excellent work life balance, very peaceful city and everything in Sweden just works (none of the trash heaps of London/Paris, none of the language barriers of Munich/Madrid)
Agree. Although the weather today is crap 🤣
Hamburg, Vienna, Prague, or my fave: Remote
Budapest but never for a local salary trust me
Krakow - COL is the lowest in EU (despite 16% inflation), salaries are very high comparatively to other EU states. My wife and I both work in non-managerial roles, and basically earn each year the equivalent of one brand new 1-bedroom apartment. The rental yields are 5-6 %, so you can diversify your assets by buying RE. Only downside is PLN, it depreciated against major currencies, but so did EUR to be objective.
I came from Central Europe, and am never looking back. Only two other places I would consider are UAE (10k USD monthly) or CH (12k CHF monthly), but only if assuming a managerial position.
