I use “textbefore” and “textafter” and xlookup a lot.
I haven’t seen textbefore and textafter, I’ll have to check those out!
Now that you mention MAKEARRAY, I’m curious how you use it. I’m somewhat familiar with dynamic array functions but MAKEARRAY was at the bottom of my list in terms of what I thought could be useful.

Not a particular formula. But I’ve been using AI to write my formulas. I can basically get anything done without spinning my wheels.
I’ve heard of people doing this, haven’t tried it though! I’ve even seen some add-ins so you can do it all right in excel.
I think it has been getting more popular as of late, but I do find being very good at LET, FILTER, UNIQUE, VSTACK, and XLOOKUP (and being able to combine them properly) still allows me to be "the excel guy" in the office. Also, learning how to make Alteryx interact with Excel has been a major game changer

Not recent but Vlookup is pretty awesome
I find the syntax for index match to be much cleaner than a double Xlookup when searching a grid.
