Rather than using PQ, if the lookup values are in one cell separated by commas, wondering if you could just do text to columns using the comma as the delimiter and once all the values are in different columns of one row, then copy those values and paste special transposed going downward in a column? Then do the vlookup off there? This would at least solve the first step? But not 100% sure without seeing the data
I would agree that text to column and Vlookup would be a way to go. I would like to see the data myself
Idk if I would use PQ for this (specially because Idk PQ), but I’m pretty sure it can be done in excel alone, but would need to take a look at the data first! Does it have any logic/repetition in these values?!
Ex. The values will always be 3 letters, or something like that?
I think power Query is not a bad idea if you have repeated data sets with this particular type of issue. We just need to apply some steps and formulas in the query editor to make this happen
