My fiancé got approached for a Sales Executive Role at Instacart. Anyone have any insight into the company, job security, culture etc? They mentioned 100k base, 40-60% variable comp and an undisclosed equity grant. She’s already making 130k in a very secure job, so we are thinking no, but want to do our homework first.

I went from 5 LPA to 17 LPA six months ago when I made my first switch.
Now again I'm thinking about next switch and even 17LPA feels low now.
Guess money is not the only source of satisfaction because after sometime, we will be wanting for more.
4 years, 17 lpa in infy.??.. Solid boss

I was soo happy 8 months ago when i made my first switch. But, Now i feel the need to earn more.
Numbers are never ending better to link your happiness with something else.
Earning less but way happy with life and work life balance
3.5 .and hell noooo
Now it's making sense
I'm at 10LPA and still unhappy. This is going to be an ongoing struggle - the more you make, the more you'd want to make. You keep getting better at your trade and you will always feel that you are underpaid.
Also, with time, your responsibilities and commitments will keep increasing typically, because of which the need to make more money will increase and it will never be enough.

August 2019 - 7.2 LPA for 6 years exp. Still happy
March - 2022 - 35 LPA for 7.5 years, still happy.
Happiness is not tied to money. For me money is very important but I don't tie my happiness to it. Its in the little things, staying with my family, weekend trips, friends, fun etc. Money is a means.
